ILL Express (via Article Galaxy Scholar) is a service that CEU Library recently implemented to provide campus users with the ability to access journal articles to which the CEU Library does not have access. Users receive these articles rapidly (on average within 30 minutes) and the service is available 24/7.
When you come across an article from a journal that the CEU Library does not subscribe to, in Libsearch you see a link that will say “ILL Express”. You do not need an Article Galaxy Scholar account to request an article, just enter your CEU email address and hit the submit button. Please note that you must be on campus or using the CEU VPN off campus to access the ILL Express link.
Currently, ILL Express is set up to allow purchase for all Berghahn, Brill, Cambridge University Press, Emerald, IEEE, Oxford University Press, Sage, Springer Nature and Walter de Gruyter published articles to which the CEU Library does not have access.
You should receive your article within 24 hours or less.
Once you are emailed your article link, you will have 30 days to download the content.
** You may download the article a maximum of 5 times, so please make sure to save the article to your personal device to ensure future use. **
You can use ILL Express up to 5 times each semester. After you reach your limit, you will be automatically routed to the ILL Service to fulfill the article request.
Please note that the articles delivered for you have been provided for your use. Copying, sharing, or distributing the articles in a manner not specified in your order and without appropriate authorization may be an infringement of copyright. The articles cannot be uploaded to Moodle.
All questions about ILL Express should be sent to ill@ceu.edu.
