Policy:
According to the CEU Policy on Student Plagiarism, students may not use GenAI in work submitted for a grade unless a) it has been explicitly authorised by the instructor or program in writing, OR b) it can be considered 'limited reasonable use.'
The CEU Library offers some tools that are powered by Generative Artificial Intelligence (specifically, Large Language Models or LLMs). These tools help identify potential sources and clarify concepts; thus, they are generally considered "limited reasonable use". The use of these tools should always be declared in case of work submitted for a grade. When in doubt about whether the use of a specific tool is permitted, please consult with your instructor or program.
