Why is a Pure/ORCID connection helpful?

By connecting Pure and ORCID, your ORCID profile can be automatically updated with the information available in Pure. This has two advantages:

• Automating the transfer of publication data from the CEU Research Portal to your ORCID profile eliminates the need for manual entry, saving valuable time and improving data quality.
• Designating the CEU Research Portal as the source of origin enhances the credibility and reliability of the data, fostering greater trust in the accuracy of the information.

Please follow the instructions depending on your situation:

• Your ORCID is shown on your Research Portal profile page
• You have an ORCID, but it's not shown on your Research Portal profile page
• You don't have an ORCID

Please note

If you have manually added data to your ORCID profile and have not included a unique identifier (e.g. DOI, ISBN, etc.) for your publications, there may be duplications when importing from Pure. 

If you notice duplicated records after importing, we recommend deleting the manually created records.
